POET Unveils 1.6T Optical Engines, AI Light Source at CIOE

POET Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: POET), a leader in integrated photonic solutions, is set to showcase its latest breakthroughs in optical engines and light sources at the China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE 2025), happening September 10–12 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center.

At the event, POET will debut:

  • Blazar™ Light Source – a high-power, multi-channel solution designed for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) and next-gen chip-to-chip communications, aimed at solving bandwidth and latency bottlenecks in AI networks.

  • Teralight™ 1.6T Optical Engines – transmit and receive modules engineered for hyperscale data centers, enabling scalable, cost-optimized interconnects for AI and cloud infrastructure.

In addition, Dr. Mo Jinyu, POET’s SVP of Global Product Development, will address the International Forum on Optical Communications (IFOC 2025) on September 9, highlighting the role of the company’s Optical Interposer™ platform in powering future AI and cloud-scale connectivity.

POET executives will also meet with global partners and customers during CIOE, underscoring rising demand for its scalable, energy-efficient optical solutions.
